The file for accompanying and/or storing documents is of the type consisting of a base 1, a cover 2 and a flap 4; it possesses tabs 6, 7 and 9 partly precut out of the cover 2, the base 1 and the flap 4 respectively. The tabs 6 are intended to act as gripping means in combination with complementary means. The tabs 7, which each have a hole 8, are for joining more than one file in a single binder. The tabs 9 are designed to act either as gripping means or as direct supports for instructions or thumb indices. <IMAGE>
