PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the signal to quantizing noise ratio and to improve the quality of a time division multiplex signal by devising a device such that multi-frame synchronization is taken for time division multiplex signal between terminal equipments. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a reference clock generating section 10 generating a reference clock signal with code rule violation added thereto at a frame period and a clock conversion section 20. Then the clock conversion section 20 eliminates the code rule violation corresponding to a multi-frame synchronizing location in each code rule violation of a reference clock signal generated from the reference clock generating section 10 and supplies the resulting signal to each terminal station equipment as a synchronizing clock signal. Thus, the multi-frame synchronization for the time division multiplex signal is taken between the terminal station equipments, the deterioration in the signal to quantizing noise ratio is prevented and the quality of the time division multiplex signal is improved. |
