PURPOSE:To speedily reheat a pot in cooking by controlling a detection period of a nonload detector to be shortened by a prescribed time when a change-in- state detector detects a change from a load state to a nonload state. CONSTITUTION:A timer circuit 25 outputs a square wave pulse signal to an oscillation control circuit 19 according to signal from a memory circuit 21 at the time t2 when a prescribed time of 0.5 seconds has elapsed to make a driving circuit 15 work to detect a load. At the time t2, a lifted pot is mounted on a top plate, and a current transformer CT detects a signal corresponding to a flow of current. A load detection circuit 17 makes a judgement according to the signal detected as above that the signal is a load, and outputs a signal to the oscillation control circuit 19 to make an inverter circuit 3 work. When a judgement of nonload is temporarily made according to the pot in cooking being lifted, the circuit 3 works immediately at the time t2 so that it is possible to start reheating operation. |
