摘要 Catalyst reactor for exothermic chemical reactions between gaseous components in which a multiplicity of tubular chambers (5) is arranged in a reactor vessel (1), in which tubular chambers catalyst material (6) is situated and through which the gas mixture to be brought to reaction can be passed. According to the invention, the reactor vessel (1) is subdivided in the direction of flow of the gas mixture into a first and a second main space (2, 3) which are designed as a first and second heat exchanger (5, 12; 9, 17). The tubular chambers (5) are inserted into the partition between the first and second main space in such a way that they project into the first main space (3) hermetically sealed from this and open out with their orifices into the second main space. The tubular chambers (5) lie in the first main space (3) in the stream of the gas mixture entering here and give off heat to the gas mixture. The gas mixture is passed from the first main space (3) into the antechamber (4) of the second main space (4). Tubes (9) extend from the antechamber (7) through the second main space (4) as far as the bottom region of the tubular chambers (5). The hot gases exiting from the tubular chambers (5) give off heat to the tubes (9) running through the second main space (4) before they leave the reactor vessel. <IMAGE>
