PURPOSE:To obtain polyribonucleotide useful for cutting and detoxication of viroid single chain cyclic RNA as a cause of plant dwarfing by constructing ribozyme having special nucleotide sequence and cutting activity at specific part in polyribonucleotide sequence. CONSTITUTION:A polyribonucleotide having nucleotide sequence expressed by formula I. A polyribonucleotide containing nucleotide sequence of C is cut at a part expressed by arrow by using (1) a polyribonucleotide containing nucleotide sequence A and not containing nucleotide sequence B, and a polyribonucleotide containing nucleotide sequence B and not containing nucleotide sequence C, or (2) a polyribonucleotide containing nucleotide sequence A and nucleotide sequence B, and not containing nucleotide sequence C. |
