LITHIUM ION CONDUCTIVE SOLID ELECTROLYTE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain high ionic conductivity without impairing stability by constituting the solid electrolyte of lithium iodine and zirconia as a main body. CONSTITUTION:The solid electrolyte is constituted of lithium iodine and zirconia as a main body. Zirconia is comparatively low in the density of a surface functional group and adsorbed water can be completely separated at about 200 deg.C. Further surface -OH group can be removed at about 600 deg.C. Zirconia having a cubic structure is furthermore lower in the density of the surface functional group and more preferably utilized. Similarly zirconia whereto one or more kinds of alkaline earth metallic oxide or rare earth oxide selected from among magnesia, calcia or yttria are added is preferably utilized because the density of the surface functional group thereof is low.
