发明名称 INTERNALLY REFORMED FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the high efficiency and the stability of the inside reforming function and to realize a long service life by dividing a fuel gas flow passage into a reforming catalyst filling part and two fuel gas flow passages provided at both sides of the reforming actalyst filling part, and composing the system to generate a pressure difference between the flow passages. CONSTITUTION:A fuel gas flows in the first fuel gas flow passage 11a which has the opening at the current entrance side, and since the fuel gas flow passage 11a has a large flow resistance at the exit side, it transfers to a neighboring reforming catalyst filling part 10 through slits 12. In the reforming catalyst filling part 10, the fuel is degenerated into a fuel gas mainly of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The produced hydrogen and carbon monoxide transfer to the second fuel gas flow passage 11b where the pressure is lower than in the reforming catalyst filling part 10, diffuse through a fuel gas passage formation material 5a and holes of a fuel gas side collector 4a, and are fed to a fuel gas electrode 2. Then, in the fuel gas electrode 2, they are consumed by the electrochemical and chemical reactions, and generate an electric energy and an auxiliary heat energy, while steam and carbon dioxide which are the reaction products are exhausted to the exit side of the fuel cell passing through the second fuel gas flow passage 11b.
