PURPOSE:To improve environmental resistance and durability by constituting the toner for electrostatic charge development of resins and compd. of a specific copper phthalocyanine system. CONSTITUTION:The resin to be used may be polystyrene, ethylene/acrylate copolymer, styrene/methacrylate copolymer, satd. polyester resin, unsatd. polyester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, etc., of which the styrene resin, satd. or unsatd. polyester resin and the epoxy resin are more particularly preferable. While the compd. expressed by the formula I has good negative electrostatic chargeability, a negative charge control agent, such as salicylic acid or metal complex of Cr, Zn or Al, etc. of the salicylic acid may be incorporated at 0.1 to 5wt.% into the toner. A flowability improving agent, such as colloidal silica, may be added to the toner at 0.01 to 3wt.%. |
