PURPOSE:To omit the definition of a session address, the address calculation, and a describing job requiring the knowledge of machine words by preparing the various correspondence tables related to the program information necessary for patches in accordance with a computer system. CONSTITUTION:A source data input process means 2 inputs the source data, and a source form check process means 3 checks the form of the source data supplied from the means 2 by reference to the various correspondence tables. Then the means 3 outputs the source data and the error information to a list and at the same time produces the interim result used for conversion. A source data conversion process means 4 converts the source data into the patch data based on the interim result received from the means 3 as well as the various correspondence tables. A result output process means 5 outputs the converted patch data to a file. Thus the patch data can be obtained with production of the simple source data.
