Domestic hot and cold water supply with bacteria control - has time controlled hot water circulation through whole system

The bacteria protected water system has a main feeder secured by a non-return valve (2) and a shut off valve (3). The tappings to the cold water system and the heated water circuit are taken off the main feeder close to the input valves. The outlets for the two systems have shunting valves which effectively recirculate both systems via the heated reservoir (10) at set time intervals e.g. at night. The shunting valves (14,18 etc.) are time controlled as is the main shunting valve (11) near the feed into the system. The heating cycle raises the water to above 60 deg.C at which point all bacterial growth is killed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Hospitals, public utilities, protects e.g. against Legionaires Disease.
