The armed position of an impact fuze is brought about by overcoming the retaining means with delayed burning away of a pyrotechnic mixture. Preferred embodiments for the retaining means are a wire (6) which is pressed in a pressing body, bimetallic elements (13) which release a positively-locking joint under the influence of heat, or a friction layer (16), which can burn away, on the cylinder casing of the firing bolt (3). The simplified assembly and the simpler safety testing are advantageous. <IMAGE>
