Device for storing test discs for medical or chemical purposes in a buffer solution, comprising a vessel which can be sealed liquid-tightly to the outside, in which the vessel is formed by a lidded container (1) and is furnished with rest receptacles (4, 5) for holding the discs in an upright position. The container (1) is furnished with an encircling ring shoulder (6) and/or a central projecting core (7) in which, in a mutually opposite position, notches (4, 5) are formed as rests for the discs. It is further furnished on its outer lower rim edge with a ring attachment (9) and held in a plate which is furnished with a cutout conforming to the container contour and extending up to the rim region of the plate, which cutout on its periphery has a recess corresponding to the rim edge. The ring attachment is flattened on two sides (11) offset from each other by 180@ and extended to form a plate (14) over an extent of about 180@. The container (1) is furnished with a band expanded at both ends to form a marking label in each case, of which one label is arranged on the container lid and the other label is arranged on the plate. <IMAGE>
