PURPOSE:To prevent grains subjected to treatment from deteriorating with germs and obtain apparatus for treating the grains and improving taste of the treated grains by successively providing the apparatus with a heating means consisting of hermetically sealed vessels capable of supplying microwaves and a dipping means in the interiors thereof. CONSTITUTION:In an example, a dipping device (B) is arranged between heaters (A) and (C) respectively equipped with microwave generating means (magnetron) 4 and 22 and grain transporting means 3 and 20 in the interiors of hermetically sealed vessels 1 and 21. Grains dipped for a prescribed time are fed into the heater (A), heat-treated, then conveyed while being dipped in hot water at about 85 deg.C in the dipping device (B), subsequently fed into the second heater (C) and cooked therein. |
