The invention relates to a current pick-off for an electrical busbar. The known current pick-offs have a rather large volume, have a complicated structure and contain an annoyingly large number of parts. These disadvantages have been ameliorated by means of the current pick-off according to the invention, which has attachment fingers (16) and phase-contact fingers (11) on the second cam shaft (7), which is parallel to the first cam shaft (6). The cam shafts (6, 7) are formed such that they allow rotation only when they are in a predetermined position. This is preferably brought about by means of a formed-out region on selector discs (4, 5) which are located at the ends of the cam shafts (6, 7). <IMAGE>
