In a gusset pad, the liquor space is formed from two press rollers and gusset plates which are arranged on the end faces and which can be displaced laterally for adaptation to the width of the textile material to be impregnated. In the gusset pad according to the invention, these plates are vertically divided centrally, in order to form a passage nip between them for the textile material, so that, for example, the edge regions of a web which are left outside the liquor space are not impregnated and therefore do not soil the needles of a tenter frame, in which the web still has to be consolidated. <IMAGE>
