PURPOSE:To prevent display data from being lost and to improve a monitoring function by holding a image plane display request which is made in a period wherein the update of image plane information is stopped at a request to take a hard copy of the image plane information. CONSTITUTION:When an indication to take a hard copy of a display image plane is made on a keyboard 3, the update of display image plane information on a CRT 5 is stopped and the image information being displayed currently is inputted to a buffer device 7. When the input to the device 7 is completed, the update of the image plane information is released from being stopped and the information is printed out on a printer 8. A display request command which is generated during this period is registered and held in the registration area of the trace buffer of a RAM 2 in the generation order. When an inspector indicates the execution of the display request command on the keyboard 3 after the update is released from being stopped, the image plane information from the RAM 2 is displayed on the CRT 5. Therefore, no important data is lost and the monitoring function is improved. |
