Process for continuously producing a sheet web and simultaneously coating it on one and both sides

A description is given of a process for continuously producing a sheet web of a nonwoven fabric and simultaneously coating it on one and both sides, in which a nonwoven fabric consisting of lignocellulose-containing and/or cellulose-containing constituents and binder is pressed together with at least one synthetic-resin-impregnated paper web in a continuously working press under the effect of heat. During this, the temperature in the pressed nonwoven fabric is initially increased and then, still during the pressing operation, reduced to a value below 100@C.
