Carphones have dialling keypads whose keys which can be pressed by a user are provided with visible digits. Switching devices are provided in order to activate dialling devices to dial a subscriber number. It is proposed to provide the keys with additional devices in order to convey designation information relating to the dialled digits to the user, these devices being designed in such a way that they are activated by touch.
