In known coin-operated machines, manipulating tools can be introduced through the coin channel and action can be taken with these on the pay-out slide of the coin pay-out unit. As a result of the subsequent installation of the new device, attempts at manipulation are to be prevented right from the outset. For this purpose, a device having a power-operable blocking body is provided on the pay-out apparatus underneath the coin-dispensing orifice.
