The present invention relates to a method and a system for guaranteeing the resource utilization rate of a website using a content distribution network. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a domain name resolution request sent by a local domain name server; monitoring a resource load of a source website corresponding to the domain name resolution request; determining the result of the domain name resolution request as one of the address of the source website and a content distribution network system by using monitored data and according to a predetermined strategy; and sending the domain name resolution result to the local domain name server.
