A terminal is disclosed. The terminal includes a first input part which acquires the search information of a first data type; a second input part which acquires search information of a second data type different from the first data type; an output part which checks whether search information from the first input part and the second input part acquires search information, and acquires a search result from a data storing place by using the acquired search information, when the search information from at least one of the first input part and the second input part; and an output part which provides the search result. So, various search results can be provided by a search engine or application.
