PROCESS FOR IMPROVING THE REDUCTION OF HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF ATMOSPHERIC CO2 NEAR GROUND LEVEL BY CULTIVATED PLANTS

A process is proposed for biocatalytically and/or enzymatically increasing the capacity of plants to take up excess CO2 in the atmosphere. This is done by watering at least once per growth period, and by introducing via this water traces of CO2 and H2CO3 into the region of the plant roots in particular, to an extent optimized as a function of the particular plant type and the nature of the ground and the water.
