A vital capacity testing method and device. The vital capacity testing method comprises: measuring a static pressure P0 in the inner cavity of a pressure hole of a mobile device, wherein the pressure hole is in communication with the outside, and is a separately formed opening or an existing designed opening in the mobile device (S100); blowing at the pressure hole, and acquiring an air pressure P(t) at each moment (S101); acquiring an airflow velocity V(t) at each corresponding to moment according to a corresponding relational expression between airflow velocities V(t) and pressure differences P(t)-P0 (S102); and acquiring a vital capacity Vc of a testee according to a correspondence between the measurement time t and the airflow velocities V(t) (S103). The vital capacity of the testee is acquired according to the correspondence between the airflow velocities and the measurement time, so that the precision of the vital capacity testing can be effectively improved and damage to relevant parts of a testing device is avoided, and accordingly, the vital capacity testing method and device are completely different from schemes in the prior art that a microphone is used to test the vital capacity. |
