PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity, durability and color sensitivity, especially red color reproducibility by incorporating a specified bisazo compound into the charge generating layer and a specified hydrazone compound into the charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:A bisazo compound represented by formula I is incorporated into the charge generating layer of a laminate type sensitive body. A hydrazone compound represented by formula II or a hydrazone compound represented by formula III (where each of Z<1>, Z<2> and Z<3> is H, lower alkyl, alkoxy, phenoxy or arylakoxy, and R<3> is H, lower alkyl, aryl or aralkyl) is incorporated into the charge transferring layer. The resulting sensitive body contg. the bisazo compound has high sensitivity, favorable color sensitivity and satisfactory durability, and it undergoes little change in the sensitivity and electrostatic chargeability in repeated use. The sensitivity is high especially in a range of longer wavelengths, and superior red color reproducibility is provided. The sensitive body is widely applicable to an electro photographic copying machine, a printer using laser or a cathode-ray tube as a light source, etc. |
