PURPOSE:To prevent sway of a car body due to ground clearance adjustment and enable conduct of said adjustment during boarding and alighting by stopping by stopping said adjustment when car speed is within the predetermined range and acceleration or deceleration is above the predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is supplied from a compressor 5 to suspensions 1-4 through valves 7, 8, 10 to adjust ground clearance. Signals from potentiometers 12-15 and car speed signals from a phototransistor 30 are inputted to a ground clearance controller 20. When a car speed is within the predetermined range (about 3-10km/h) and acceleration or deceleration speed exceeds the predetermined value, ground clearance adjustment is stopped. Accordingly, sway of a car body due to acceleration or deceleration may be eliminated and the ground clearance adjustment may be operated at boarding and alighting during stoppage of a car. |
