PURPOSE:To provide a toner which has excellent offset preventive performance and excellent low-temp. fixability and hardly flocculates by incorporating a polyester which is a non-linear polyester and has an aliphat. hydrocarbon group at the side chain and of which the main chain has a long chain aliphat. hydrocarbon unit at 1-30mol% of the constituting unit as a binder into said toner. CONSTITUTION:The polyester which is the non-linear polyester obtd. from the monomer component contg. a trihydric or higher hydric alcohol monomer and/or trihydric or higher hydric carboxylic acid monomer and has the unsatd. aliphat. hydrocarbon group of 3-22C at the side chain thereof and of which the main chain has the long chain aliphat. hydrocarbon unit at 1-30mol% of the constituting unit is used as the binder. The substantial low-temp. fixability is not obtainable if the ratio of the long chain aliphat. hydrocarbon unit in the main chain of the non-linear polyester is excessively low. On the other hand, the glass transition point Tg decreases too much and therefore, the toner is liable to flocculate and has the low blocking resistance if the ratio is excessively high. |
