The satellite housing (1) of a differential, includes a bearing (2) in which the drive shaft (3) is supported. The shaft is connected to the vehicle engine, and supports at the end a straight cylindrical gear wheel (4), meshing with a crown wheel (5) fixed to a satellite housing (6) which includes a fixed satellite shaft (9). Two satellite gear wheels (11,12) are freely rotatable around the shaft and are spaced by a distance bush (13). The satellite wheels mesh with further crown wheels (14,15).
