<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of character input operation on an editing screen by indicating movement of the cursor position indicating the input position of the next character on the editing screen by a cursor position indicating device. CONSTITUTION:Information of the editing screen having many characters and the cursor indicating the next character position is stored in a frame buffer memory 1, and information of the editing screen stored in the frame buffer memory 1 is displayed on a display device 2. A mouse 4 as the cursor position indicating device indicates movement of the cursor position on the editor picture, and an input controller 5 moves the cursor position stored in the memory 1 by the indication from the mouse and stores characters inputted from a keyboard 3 in order from the cursor position in the memory 1. Thus, many characters having various discontinuous parts are easily inputted on the editing screen, and the operability of character input operation is improved.</p> |
