PURPOSE:To realize excellent balance among strings and to generate a clean and deep sound while eliminating variation in sounding among electric guitar products by arranging a pickup so that magnetic flux exiting from the pole piece of the pickup passes a specific intermediate point. CONSTITUTION:When a string 10 vibrates, the number of pieces of magnetic flux cross-linked with coils wound around bobbins in pickups 30 and 32 varies and a current corresponding to the variation flows to the coils. Fine current variation is amplified by a guitar amplifier and transduced into a sound. At this time, positions at major 3rd, perfect 4th, and perfect 5th consonant intervals are regarded as the arrangement positions of the pickups 30 and 32 to not only obtain a large harmonic overtone content rate of pickup outputs, but also prevent a dissonance which is offensive to the ear from being generated resulting from the arrangement positions. Namely, a round and deep sound is generated. |
