PURPOSE:To improve the anti-time characteristics of an output of reproduction, by forming a secondary core body which protects the working gap of a main core body with the glass material having larger wearability than the main core body. CONSTITUTION:A main core body 10 is formed by butting the core half bodies 12 and 13 made of an alloy magnetic material having the thickness equivalent to the track width 11. The secondary core bodies 30 and 30 are formed on the forming surface of the magnetic path of the body 10 and then put into one body with an organic adhesive. These bodies 30 are formed with a nonmagnetic material 32 which is opposite to the upper magnetic path of the body 10 and a magnetic material 33 opposite to the lower magnetic path of the body 10. The material 33 uses a single crystal or polycrystal ferrite material; while the material 32 uses a glass material having larger wearability than the body 10. Thus the anti-time characteristics of the output of reproduction are extremely improved compared with the conventional ones since a glass material of large wearability is used to form the secondary core bodies which protect a working gap 14 of the body 10. |
