The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing and purifying an anhydrosugar alcohol with a high yield and a high purity, by a simple process and a simple device. The method for manufacturing and purifying an anhydrosugar alcohol comprises the steps of: making a sugar alcohol react with an acid catalyst in a reactor and evaporating a product; removing water by cooling the evaporated product, and obtaining a crude anhydrosugar alcohol; and inserting the crude anhydrosugar alcohol in a melt crystallization process, and obtaining high-purity anhydrosugar alcohol.
