<p>PURPOSE:To ensure improved safety when running on a curve in a road by allowing a wheel to have an angle of bank with a wheel direction setting part inclined to the right or left as a wheel direction setting arm extending from a direction control section is moved to the right or left. CONSTITUTION:A direction setting arm extending from a direction control section 14 installed on a strut supporting a car body communicates, via universal joints 16, 1 and a communicating body 17, to a wheel direction setting part 15 fixed to a wheel shaft 3 through a bearing 6. The strut supporting the car body is moved to the right or left by a hydraulic piston fixed on a pedestal, which in turn causes the direction control section 14 to be moved to the right or left. As a result, the direction setting part 15 is inclined to the right or left, allowing a wheel 5 to have an angle of bank, with the resulting lateral movement of the vehicle's center of gravity. This ensures improved safety because of an angle of bank caused forcibly through manipulation of the handle.</p> |
