<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the deviation of tape running quantity and to attain accurate consecutive recording by applying a prescribed quantity of tape winding and tape rewinding prior to the tape rewinding and applying tape rewinding for consecutive recording. CONSTITUTION:When a PAUSE button is depressed during the video recording or in a standstill state, an operation button input circuit 12 sends a button input to a system control circuit 11. The circuit 11 controls a measuring control circuit 24 to store a present tape position to a storage and comparator 25 depending on the count of a capstan system counter 23 to inhibit the operation of a tape running counter 3. Then the circuit 11 controls a tape running control circuit 21 to feed a tape by a prescribed quantity. After the forward winding of a prescribed quantity, the circuit 11 controls the circuit 21 to reverse the capstan shaft. In this case, the circuit 25 obtains the restoration to the PAUSE button input position, and when the original position is restored, the circuit 11 restarts the count of the counter 3. Then the rewinding of the consecutive recording is entered and the tape of the required quantity is rewound to cause the standby state.</p> |
