摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an AC rotary machine by a method wherein an armature coil is fitted so as to wind one piece of armature tooth and four pieces of permanent magnets, whose number is larger than the number of phase 3 of a 3-phase AC by one, are arranged in the spaces of respective phases while converting the polarities thereof to form field magnets. CONSTITUTION:Armature coils 24, forming an armature 20 having three phases U-W, are fitted into slots 22a so as to wind one of armature teeth 22b formed on the inner peripheral surface of an armature core 22. A plurality of permanent magnets 34 is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of a rotor core 32 alternately while converting the polarities alternately to form field magnets. Four pieces of permanent magnets, which means the number of phases of the three- phase AC of a power source plus one, are arranged in every spaces of respective phases of an armature. According to this method, a magnetic field, produced by one set of winding, will never be cancelled by another magnetic field, produced by the other winding, whereby a magnetic resistance between the armature and the field magnet is constituted so as to be small and a rotary machine having a high efficiency can be obtained.
