PURPOSE:To eliminate slip in the slope part of a rail by providing both a first electric motor for driving a first driving wheel which is capable of being rolling turned on the upward first driving wheel receiving surface provided on the rail, and a second electric motor for driving gears which engage with downward teeth provided on the slope part of the rail, to respective carriers. CONSTITUTION:In the horizontal part of a traveling rail 1, a first driving wheel 33 is rollingly turned by a first electric motor 36 on the upward receiving surface provided on the traveling rail 1, so that a carrier 2 is traveled at a high speed. Further, in the slope part of the traveling rail 1, gear wheels 46 are turningly driven by a second driving motor 43 provided to the carrier 2, and by the engagement of these gear wheels 46 with the downward teeth 16 provided on the slope part of the rail 1, the carrier 2 is traveled at a low speed. At the time of this low speed traveling, the weight of the carrier 2 is received by the first driving wheel 33, or the like. Thus, the engagement of the gear wheels 46 with the teeth 16 become smooth, and the wear thereof can be reduced. |
