This is a Life Raft comprised of assembled cubic or parallelepiped parts (1) the four vertical edges of which - being parallel to each other - are not straight but create a concave section (2) lengthwise. In the middle of every hollow section there is a projection (3) on which there are four holes, of which the first two (4) allow the firm joining of every cubic or parallelepiped part, with the aid of two screws,, with the one adjacent to it, while the remaining two (5) are used for passing of the rope thus creating successive handholds. The projections on each side of the cubic or parallelepiped part are placed on a separate level with a diversion of a few millimeters. The advantage of this invention is that all sizes of life rafts are produced by continuous repetition of a cubic or parallelepiped part; in this way the cost of production is lower. It is used for the rescue of shipwrecked persons, creation of floating passages and as equipment for fish farming stations. The manufacturing material is suggestive of polyethylene.
|
