PURPOSE:To enable latent images to be clearly distinguished after being duplicated but not before duplication by a method in which latent images and background are printed by using a high density ink of a hue reproducible by a duplicator and a light color ink of the same series hardly reproducible and then a cover print is applied on the surface of the latent images and background. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a base paper 1, the latent image of the letter ''invalidity'' is blanked, and the other background portion 3 is printed by a fine constitutor using a thick gray ink, for example. For the latent images 2, printing is applied by a fine constitutor using a light gray ink. Furthermore, for between the fine constitutors in the background portion 3, printing is applied using the same ink as in the latent image, and then a cover print 4 consisting of a pattern composed of a combination of ground pattern and color patterns is applied on the surfaces of the latent image 2 and background portion 3. In such printings in this way, latent image appears clearly in white color when being duplicated, realizing it to be a duplicated one at a glance. |
