PURPOSE:To generate ozone only when an electric fan operates normally and to safely maintain a deodorizing function by disposing a duct case forming a suction port and discharge port and disposing an ozone decomposing catalyst in the duct case and the electric fan and an ozone generator which is operated from a motor section constituting a motor near the suction port. CONSTITUTION:The ozone generator 35 is provided near the suction port 32. A specified voltage is not induced on an auxiliary winding side and a voltage relay 43 connected in parallel with the above-mentioned auxiliary winding does not operate in the event when the rotation of the motor section 39 of the electric fan 38 is hindered. Relay contacts 44 are then opened to stop a power supply to a high-voltage generator 34 and, therefore, the high-frequency high voltage is not impressed to the above-mentioned ozone generator 35 and the formation of the ozone is stopped. The formation of only the ozone and the back flow thereof to flow out into the housing like heretofore are consequently obviated and the generation of the smell specific to the ozone is prevented. |
