A blower wheel assembly is disclosed which has particular application with respect to convection ovens although it can be used in other applications. The blower wheel assembly comprises a hub, a concave central plate surrounding the hub, a plate rim secured to said concave central plate, a blade rim, and a plurality of spaced blower blades attached between said plate rim and said blade rim.
