PURPOSE:To improve supporting function of a supporting body for structure such as a bridge girder at an earthquake or the like by attaching an engaging member to the rubber layer of the support body, and providing a stopper limiting the movement of the engaging member on either of the upper or lower structures. CONSTITUTION:A rubber support body 2 is formed by fixedly fitting in one body, out of a lower part plate 12, a rubber layer 4, reinforcing plates 16 provided with open-work holes 15, a movable engaging member 5, and an upper part plate 14. Nextly, the plate 12 is mounted on a base plate 17 provided on a lower structure 1. Nextly, an upper supporting plate 20 provided at an upper structure 3 is mounted on the plate 14. A non-repulsing and contractable stopper 8 made of non-repulsing rubber is provided, opposing to the member 5. Hereby, the whole rubber layer 4 is deformed and the structure 3 can be easily expanded or contracted at temperature variation, and at earthquake, shear deformation resistance of the rubber layer becomes large after contact with the stopper and lateral movement of the structure 3 can be prevented without any shocking force. |
