The tap fitting is built into the overflow hole of a bath tub. It has a housing, fastened to the bath wall, containing a fresh water way and overflow water outlet way, and connected to suitable pipes. The fresh water inlet way has two or more chambers (30,21) separated by a dividing wall (19). These are connected in the upper section, like a reversed siphon . The upper edge of the dividing wall is located above the top edge (20) of the bath (92), when fitted. A ventilation aperture (27) is located in this area, to connect the fresh water way to the atmosphere.
