A fluid-permeable agent for providing fluid-permeability to non-woven sheets of poyolefin fibres, comprises more than 50 (pref. 70-95) wt.% of aliphatic diethanol amide of formula (I), and 5-30 wt.% of surfactant(s) from (a) non-ionic surfactants each derived from an addn. reacton of C2-3 alkylene oxide to an active hydrogen cpd. having C11-22 alkyl or alkenyl gp. as a hydrophobic gp. 3-10 moles of the alkylene oxide being added per hydrophobic gp. of the active hydrogne cpd. being added in the addn. reaction, (b) alkyl phosphate salt of formula (II). pref. (I) is stearic acid diethanol amide. In formulas, R is C11-17 alkyl or alkenyl gp.; R1 is C12-18 alkyl or alkenyl; M is Na, K or aluminium; a and b are 1 or more such that a+b=3.
