PURPOSE:To enable the roaster to serve as a ''Shabu-shabu'' (boiled meat) pan at the same time by a method wherein the roaster is equipped with a grate and a trivet in an exchangeable manner. CONSTITUTION:An outer box 5 whose upper part opens in a cooking section 3 and whose lower part opens in an exhaust section 4 which is capable of performing a sucking action through a suitable sucking device is fitted into substantially the center of a table 2 and a cylindrical inner box 7 is arranged within the outer box 5 so that a sucked air passage 6 of a predetermined width is formed between the boxes 5 and 7. Further, a suitable number of projections 8, 8'... extending toward the center of the inner box 7 are formed on the inner peripheral wall surface of an upper opening of the inner box 7 and a collar 10 provided around the outer periphery of a plate 9 is placed on the projections 8, 8'... so that an annular step 11 is formed by the collar 10 and the wall surface of the inner box 7. Then the grate 12 or the trivet 14 is selectively placed on the step 11. Thus, with the above structure, it is possible to use the reaster as a meat roaster or a ''Shabu-shabu'' pan selectively and also to use it for various purposes. |
