METHOD FOR FOLDING CYLINDRICAL RESIN FILM IN BELLOWS FORM AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To enable the easily repeated folding into a volume as small as possible within a short time by successively sending a cylindrical resin film to the outer circumference of a hollow core cylinder and the inner circumference of a holding beam, and folding and receiving the film into a bellows form at a constant pitch by a compressing plate. CONSTITUTION:A continuously formed cylindrical resin film 1 is successively sent from the upper part of a receiving tube 2 having a holding beam 19 disposed in a determined distance from the outer circumference of a hollow core cylinder 21 to the outer circumference of the hollow core cylinder 21 and the inner circumference of the holding beam 19 in such a manner as to cover the hollow core cylinder 21. While the successively fed film 1 is inserted in a determined length into the valley part of a pleat under folding by compression plates 3, 3 divided into two or more which are vertically and longitudinally movable in a determined distance and provided on the outer circumference, the pleat is pushed downward by the portion of a constant pitch according to the feed of the film 1, folded and compressed. This operation is repeated to fold and receive the film 1 in the bellows form.
