USES OF POLYMERS

Described herein are uses of amphiphilic polymers in oral care compositions, as well as for the purpose of inhibiting bacterial growth and for retaining an activate ingredient onto a substrate to which it has been applied. Also described are oral care compositions (including dentifrices and mouthwashes) comprising the amphiphilic copolymers, in which the presence of the polymer confers a number of advantages to the composition. Methods of preparing the oral care compositions are also described.
