PURPOSE: To prevent entanglement of suture to a needle holding means at the end of winding panel during suture drawing out, by providing at least three gassets formed at the end of suture winding panel to prevent friction compression of suture wound at the corner. CONSTITUTION: An insert 70 is placed against a suture winding panel 10 and a gasset 73 is alligned with a gasset 28 of a package. The needle 60 is placed at the foaming material needle holder 40 and the point of the needle is stored at the back of the insert at a needle point protection edge 76. The suture 62 is wound to the insert 70. When the suture is drawn out from the holder, the suture may get entangled at the ear 52 beneath a foam member, if no insert exists. The entanglement can be removed when a lower ear is covered by the insert at the edge 74. Further the entanglement at the lower corner of the insert is prevented by a flap 72 that removes the lower corner at the bottom of the suture loop allowing smooth drawing. |
