The present invention relates to an elevator emergency stop device which can secure constant braking power by integrally manufacturing a gib and a disk spring of the elevator emergency stop device to easily manage an assembly tolerance and can prevent damage to a traction machine and the emergency stop device by attaching a sliding plate to enable the return of an elevator car after braking. When an elevator cage (100) does a free fall due to speeding (1.2 times greater than a rated speed) or the breaking of a rope, an act arm (600) of the emergency stop device (500) is pulled up by the rope connected to a rope connection unit (300) of a governor (200) and thus the gib (700) is moved up to additionally compress the disk spring (900). Therefore, the gib (700) tightly cramps a rail (800) to stably stop the elevator cage (100) by reducing the speed of the elevator cage (100) by the friction between the gib (700) and the rail (800). |
