PURPOSE:To make a driver in a preceding car or a pedestrian recognize that a following car is greater than a passenger car with a head lamp furnished on both sides by providing a peripheral emission means in a lamp body, whereby a portion corresponding to the difference in shape between a front opening part of the lamp body and a projection part is flashed. CONSTITUTION:In a headlamp, peripheral emission means 19, 21, 22 are provided, by which a portion corresponding to the difference in shape between a front end of a projection part 2 and a front opening 18 of a lamp body 15 is flashed. In the day time, the light transmitted into the lamp body 15 through a lens 17 is reflected by a half mirror film 21 on the front surface of a base 19 and outgoes forward, and, seen from the front, the interior of the lens 17 is shown in full scope. When a bulb 24 of a clearance lamp 22 is lighted, the light 25 is transmitted in the base 19 to outgoes forward, and again, seen from the front side, the entire interior of the lens 17 is seen flashed. Fairly clear sight can thus be obtained, and a driver in a preceding car or a pedestrian are not to be given an optical illusion concerning a following card. |
