<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reinforced resin molded article which has a low expansion coefficient, little suffers distortion during or after molding and has excellent wear characteristcs, flexural strength, etc., by mixing dried fine wood powder with a thermoplastic resin material in a specified ratio, and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A cellulosic material such as wood or particle board is finely divided by sanding to obtain fine powder having a particle size of 150 mesh or finer and a water content of 1-5%. 3-50% said dried fine wood powder is mixed with a thermoplastic resin material such as vinyl chloride resin or ABS resin. The mixture is molded by injection molding or extrusion to obtain the desired reinforced resin molded article. Problems such as generation of steam in wood powder as aggregate, generation of pyroligenous acid gas and frictional resistance between the wood powder and the inner wall surface of a molding machine during molding can be completely eliminated, and molded articles having excellent characteristics can be obtd. with good workability.</p> |
