PURPOSE:To efficiently update the number of commodities in stock at the time of receipt of commodities by only designating commodity receipt to update the number of commodities in stock at the time of updating the number of commodities in stock based on the number of received commodities. CONSTITUTION:The number of commodities in stock and an arbitrarily set number of received commodities are stored in a stock area 1-1 and a receipt area 1-2 of a commodity data storage means 1 respectively. When commodity receipt is designated by a designating means 2, a retrieving means 3 retrieves a designated commodity from the commodity data storage means 1; and when the commodity whose receipt is designated is retrieved, an updating means 4 adds the value in the receipt area 1-2 related to the commodity to the corresponding value in the stock area 1-1. Consequently, commodity receipt is only designated to update the number of commodities in stock when the number of commodities in stock is updated based on the number of received commodities. Thus, it does not take long time to update the number of commodities in stock at the time of receipt of commodities, and an operator is saved trouble. |
